About
Bhagavan
|
|
In
his early childhood days,Bhagavan used to feel that
something had gone wrong with mankind. Before wars had
a reason and now they had more become like a disease.
Bhagavan discovered that all problems that we face in
today's world had only one cause - the feeling of separate
existence from life and the Universe. Somewhere deep
within he felt that he had to help mankind to get truly
happy since that would solve all problems. He also realized
the sad fact that mankind didn't get transformed in
spite of trying very hard for thousands of years. Something
seemed to have gone wrong somewhere and he felt confident
that one fine day he would be able to help mankind to
reach their long awaited goal of inner freedom and joy.

|
His
parents, Mrs Vaidharbi and Mr Varadharajalu, saw their
first child (Bhagavan) getting born on the 7th of March
1949 in Natham town, North Arcot District in the state
of Tamil Nadu, South India.Later they were to get two
more sons and a daughter.Bhagavan was a very unusual
child. He was always introspective and only concerned
about how to give mankind total freedom.
|
|
He worked in various places and in 1976 he married Padmavati
Devi (Amma). They have one child, Krishna. In the 80's
Amma,Bhagavan and his friend from childhood, Shankarji,
opened a spiritual school called Jeevashram. It was
here that the divine phenomenon took birth in July 1989.
Suddenly the students began to experience states of
cosmic consciousness. Many of them became like real
prophets and mystics. Great miracles became a daily
happening in the lives of these students.
|
|
After
some time Bhagavan and Amma decided to begin their real
project that they now knew for sure would be successful
- to transfer complete enlightenment to mankind. So
from a humble official beginning in 1991 Bhagavan's
Oneness Movement has today approximately 15 millions
members from all over the world. This number is increasing
daily and many new countries get added every passing
year.

Amma
|
|
She
was born the 15th of August 1954 in the beautiful village,
Sangham, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, South India.
She is loved for her wisdom and childlike simplicity
and has difficulties in saying no when asked. That is
one reason of the tremendous miracles happening when
people ask her for help. Persons like Amma and Bhagavan
are called Avatars in India. They themselves are not
bothered about what names or titles different people
give them. One could say they are one being in two bodies
and both of them can transfer the state of enlightenment
to any amount of people.
|
|
|
Bhagavan is the one who is guiding this process and
Amma is generating tremendous energy so that enlightenment
will become available for everybody. When asked about
healing, Bhagavan often tells people to ask Amma as
she will react faster than him since she is an embodiment
of Shakti, the feminine divine power. Those who have
an inner contact (friendship) with both Bhagavan as
well as Amma will get enlightenment much easier. That
will awaken the lunar as well as the solar energy channel
(Ida and Pingala nadi) and there will be harmony of
yin and yang within.
